Important Information for all Attendees
  • Arrive from 09:00 for a 09:30 start.
  • Please bring your own reusable mug/tankard/drinks vessel for the evening drinks reception. We'll provide the drinks, but we won't be providing single use plastic or paper cups. There may even be a prize for the best beveragewear! Hot and cold drinks, glasses and mugs will be provided throughout the conference itself.
  • Christmas jumpers are strongly encouraged for the evening reception, and optional during the conference.
  • Concerned about your carbon emissions for travelling to RCUK??? Consider calculating and offsetting your individual carbon footprint using a reputable carbon balance programme such as our ECRS partners, the World Land Trust. It doesn't cost as much as you think! Your donation goes towards protecting and restoring carbon-rich habitats in the tropics.
  • Download the conference app: We are excited to announce our partnership with Grupio to provide you with a definitive 21st century mobile experience at the RCUK2018 conference. Download the app and access information about our event from the convenience of your mobile device.  Access the full programme and other meeting-related details, see what others are tweeting about the event and post to Twitter from within the app. This app forms a small but necessary part of our continuing mission to be a paper free,  sustainable meeting. The schedule will also be presented around the venue, and the full programme can also be downloaded from the Abstract Booklets page. To download the app, see instructions below:
